Blonde is good but watch out for the brunette inside!

I thought I would become the ultimate blonde. Tall, skinny, big dumb smile, waiving my long nails, looking intelectual while browsing my facebook newsfeed.  And because I look awfully young for my age, that would require a potent gentleman to take care of my demands.

That's the image I could easily build once I put on my high heels, brush my hair and use my red, red lipstick.  I could look fancy, trendy, unrealistically superficial and my life would be so much easier.  Blondes have more fun, they say and they say it right.

But I'm not blonde.  Neither inside, nor outside. It's just a  question of needing a change at one particular moment in my life. It looks better on me, I'm more visible in a crowd and cars might stop whenever I desire to cross the street and there's no place for pedestrians.

Otherwise I don't give a shit.  When the blonde.... runs away, and the stupid smile freezes, and the nails break,  all that stays is the being inside yourself.  The one that doesn't make a fuss when she has to peel potatoes, clean up the mess or worry about your welfare.

So I may look young, seem stupid and put up with your bullshit but in fact I'm way smarter because I've been here longer than you think. And I've learnt to tolerate the intolerable, smile at bad jokes and forgive the unforgiven.  Why? Because I've worked and learnt  so much and I have the sole decision to be who I am, run my life, pay my bills and make  friends. And I needn't shout "Heeelp" in order to get your attention.  I'll just use my feet, my hands and my brains....

So my blonde "hairs" are for you to look at but not touch. And my smile is for you to read and understand and not take  for granted. And my politically correct attitude is for you to follow not to interpret.  Don't misjudge me just because I'm too much of a lady to slap you or use the "f"word.  There are many women inside me and all of them have attended many schools, including that of "life".

Life has many ways.... Don't stay in the middle of my road. I'll run you over without a blink....
